Here’s a fantastic new wine from one of our favorite producers! Tannat (along with malbec) is one the Bordeaux varietals brought to Argentina in the mid-19th century, and it has really thrived. Perhaps a little bigger and stronger than it’s cousin malbec, tannat is truly terrific. And when it’s from Cafayate (which at 9,000 feet is the highest vineyard region in the world!) it displays more elegant, fresher floral aromas—while still offering deep, dark fruit, balanced tannins, generous size, and a lengthy finish. Have this with grilled steaks, pot roast, or short ribs!
